Exciting vacation destinations

T. Hurd Wurld Travel Agency has listed the following places as the top vacation destinations for each continent except Anarctica and in its brochure gives a brief description of each destination-

Asia- Mongolia- Yes, we know what you are thinking: Mongolia is a country? Well yes it is and here are some of the great things about Mongolia.
Variety of experience- The BBC says, "Mongolia has an extreme climate, with a wide range of temperatures. Droughts, and unusually cold and snowy winters, have in the past decimated livestock, destroying the livelihoods of thousands of families." What other country offers you such a diverse experience? You never know what you're going to get when you come to Mongolia.
Lots of room- Mongolia leads the world in lowest persons per square mile at about 2, and about a third of the people live in the capital city Ulan Bator. You won't run in to anyone on your long trips to visit nomadic tribes of the Asian tundra.
Rich tradition- Back someday in like the 1400's, they conquered all of Asia and almost Europe too with archers on horseback (thanks Ages of Empires). Just last year when they decided to implement last names in their country, more than half of all people chose the same one- Genghis Khan's tribal name Borjigin.
One of few countries that has a territory in Risk- Now you may think this is a stretch, but think about it, how many countries actually have their own territory in Risk? Not many, so you know Mongolia has got it going on.

Europe- Georgia- We don't know a person in the United States who hasn't heard of Georgia- famous for its peaches, the Atlanta Braves, and the birthplace of president Jimmy Carter and Coca-Cola. What you may not have known though, is that Georgia is in Europe and there are other facts about it.
You'll feel wealthy- Georgia's per capita income is $830 so you can feel really rich. You could probably buy a lot of peaches and coca-cola.
Rich tradition- This country also has a pretty rich history. Not only did Jimmy Carter come from Georgia, a little know fact is that Joseph Stalin did too. We don't know how this is possible but it was apparently a soviet republic at the same time it was a US state. Don't ask us.
Active Politics- Georgia has a couple of regions that are demanding independence, and post communist corruption has plagued the government since 1992. Georgia has always had the great debate on changing its state flag from the stars and bars that are a symbol of the confederacy.

Africa- Democratic Republic of Congo- Not to be confused with the republic of Congo, nor the Crichton book, Congo, or even it's former name Zaire, Congo is a wonderfully interesting place.
Be a part of history- The BBC says, "A vast country with immense economic resources, the Democratic Republic of Congo (DR Congo) has been at the centre of what could be termed Africa's world war... ...The war claimed an estimated three million lives, either as a direct result of fighting or because of disease and malnutrition. It has been called possibly the worst emergency to unfold in Africa in recent decades." Of course the UN is there to try and bring stability and the soldiers have done their part to help.
Buying power- The average income of each citizen in this country is $100, so you can buy anything, probably even a small village and their upcoming representatives in government.
Typical african stuff- Africa is the world's largest petting zoo, and DR Congo is no exception. Lots of wildlife live in the jungles and savannas(Not Savannah like the city in Georgia, don't get them mixed up). Contrary to popular folklore, Lions are actually very friendly and will let you pet them. The Lions have formed the GIL (group for independent lionland) to join in on the civil wars. Opposition groups call them "posers".

Australia- Australia- We chose it by default.

It's a lot like any other western country- Yeah westernization, reality television, McDonalds, cars, trucks, flying machines, all of that good stuff is there. They even have their own accent.
The Sydney Opera house- This is just an obligatory mention of this godforsaken operahouse. By international law, any mention of Australia or Sydney must be accompanied by a graphic of the opera house or a mention of it.
Diverse population- 92% white with 7% asians and some sprinkles of black people not even from Africa! Most people have four or five kangaroos that live in their houses.
Other obligatory mentionings- It was set up as a prison, Derp! Visit the Outback Steakhouse. Koala. Crocodile. Crocodile Dundee. Sheila. A dingo ate my baby.

America(we're lumpers)- United States- Poverty is rampant with 30 million under the official poverty line and healthcare is also amazingly disgusting with at least 9% of Americans uninsured. Hill folk plague the city people with their political choices.

Buying power- The US dollar is down so what that means is that you can buy everything for really cheap. Things like guns are only like 50 cents and you also can shoot them around wherever you want; it is in the constitution. Housing costs although are through the roof. A small home with 1/8 bath, and 36 square feet will cost you around $1.6 million.
A chance to help citizens in need- The BBC puts it best, "Despite relative prosperity in recent years, the gap between rich and poor is a major challenge. More than 30 million Americans live below the official poverty line, with a disproportionate percentage of these being African-Americans and Hispanics." People in poverty sometimes have to live with only one car, no gym membership, and some don't even have air conditioning. As noted above, descendants of hispanics and africans would be much better off in their home countries like Mexico and the DR Congo.
Fundamentalist theocracy- Supreme Ayatollah Bush runs the country in safety and morality even it comes at a price. Currently citizens aren't allowed to do basic things like donate money to terrorist organizations, go on an airplane without an ID, and marry people of the same sex.
Extreme nationalism- With only 20% of the population actually hating their own country, the US is considered extremely nationalist. People who aren't patriotic are put to death. Sometimes they just lump all the other countries on their continent together, and selfishly call themselves "Americans".
