MTV is nauseating

My TV doesn't need to tell me twice.
TRL - One of the last remaining shows where there is a glimpse of music videos. That's not an exaggeration. They start playing songs halfway through, then tune it down so you can listen to someone request that song as if anyone gives the slightest rat's ass that this person recommended it, then stop the video halfway through. They do this 10 times for 10 songs and call it a show. Why do people bother to call in and request their favorite song? Why do people stand outside where they can see nothing and act like insignificant beings? Why is this show on the air? Argh...the anger.
Real World/Road Rules - These shows are essentially the same. They take a bunch of kids and make them live together and fans get to watch drama unfold. It's a reality show that is like any other prime time TV drama. The only difference is that the stories are less interesting and the conversations aren't organized to be meaningful, creative, and move the plot along like on dramas. This is real [bullshit] though, if only I cared.
Punk'd - This show is somewhat funny if it is shown once a week or so and if Ashton Kutcher is edited out. Does anyone really think Ashton Kutcher makes the show good? I think I could be sitting there in his position and as long as I had his budget the show would be the same and no one would care. Ashton Kutcher is a dumbshit.
Trippin' - I hear this is the new show with Cameron Diaz. I know nothing about it and am damn proud.
Those are the only shows I currently know of that are on MTV, and frankly that's too many to be aware of for me. MTV is disgraceful. They take over the youth audience, make them dumb, then preach to "think and act and vote and liberate your generation." That is the equivalent of me chopping off Clupbert's legs and telling him to run and capture his dreams. I hate MTV though, so I don't want to be like them and therefore I'll let him keep his legs.

Heh. I haven't watched MTV since I was in middle school.
Oh yeah, where's the application to fill out for being your friend? haha
ha ha, there's also that program where they make stupid people popular. Then there's the program where they make people's cars uninsurable, thats quite funny sometimes!!
Ha! I completely agree. Stateside MTV is pathetic. They are showing some of those shows over here (only a matter of time before that trainwreck of a show Trippin' makes its way over here) but they still play music videos quite a bot. And usually the full videos. Not cut out like the do on Stateside MTV. Ugh awful.
mtv and dr phil are the devil!
I completly agree. You should spend all your free time at my site.
